OUR STORY
I’m Erika.
For eighteen years, I worked at the forefront of the global luxury spa world — within some of the most renowned hotels and private environments.
My hands have served heads of state, global leaders, celebrities, and ultra high-net-worth individuals, often as a dedicated private therapist. I was trained to the highest standards of discretion, precision, and care — where every detail mattered.
And yet, even in those extraordinary settings, a quiet question remained.
Wellbeing was never just about skin or muscle.
It could not be separated from how we breathe, eat, move, rest, or feel safe.
Meditation, nutrition, movement, and touch were never separate disciplines.
They were part of the same conversation with the body.
Then, without warning, that understanding became deeply personal.
After facing serious illness and confronting my own mortality, my relationship with my body changed entirely.
Healing was no longer conceptual.
Listening was no longer optional.
No training could have taught me what that experience did.
I learned what it truly means to work with the body — rather than against it.
LUMA HAVEN emerged from that lived understanding.
I felt called to bring this work closer to home — to The Hague, and to those seeking something quieter, deeper, and more sincere.
LUMA HAVEN is the quiet continuation of my life’s work.
And this is where my hands now rest.
